Chris Root B.Sc. ACA 

Managing Director 
 
A seasoned professional with a long and successful career in the Care Sector. Over a period of nearly thirty years, Chris has gained experience in a wide range of areas in healthcare working with, and for a number of corporate care home providers and investors in the development, financing and expansion of care services. For the last twelve years, Chris’ passion has been to apply and develop this experience in an operational capacity at both Moor Park and at his other directly owned healthcare businesses in Cumbria. 
 
 

Elana Follwell R.N. 

Director (Nursing) RN 
 
Extensive nursing experience, including Registered Manager of large home, nurse training overseas, developed innovate specialist services in care home settings, including GSF at Beacon status (3 times), stroke rehabilitation, intermediate including elderly rehab and hospital at home, palliative and end of life care often as successful pilot projects with NHS and hospice partners. 
 
 

 Janet Farrington R.N. 

Registered Manager 
 
Janet qualified as an RGN and spent 14 years in the NHS Preston Acute Trust working in neurosurgery. She has been at Moor Park House since 2008, progressing to Deputy Manager in 2001, and Clinical Manager in 2015. Janet is now Registered Manager.

Sandra Braithwaite 

Office Manager / Administrator 
 
In Sandra's role as Office Manager, she will most often be the first person visitors will meet when they come to Moor Park. Sandra epitomises the Home’s philosophy of always providing a warm and friendly welcome, striving to address every query in a prompt, efficient but very sympathetic manner. 
 
 

Joanne Brown 

Physio and hydrotherapy 
 
Joanne provides regular physiotherapy sessions to residents as part of their rehabilitation or care programme.
